Thank goodness no one was hurt when a 300 pound bear crashed a party at about 2am on Saturday on Lehigh University’s main campus in South Bethlehem.
Wfmz.com reports that the bear had wandered the Bethlehem area and was first spotted Friday afternoon around Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus in Lower Saucon Township.
Bethlehem Police Chief Mark DiLuzio said it “ran up a tree and was tranquilized by game commission officials and will be put back into the wild. No one was hurt. According to DiLuzio, the bear had a tattoo imprinted by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife.”
